It gives you the freedom to tell a story of how you met and how you felt, anything from funny to emotional, with all the special details about family, friends and pets. You can either just have the celebrant service and then have the legal details overseen in your own country, or just have it as a celebration of togetherness without the legal stuff. It’s up to you!

We offer symbolic ceremonies, same-sex ceremonies and renewal of vows.

If you don’t want them to, your guests will never know it’s not a legal service, as it’s so similar to a wedding, with vows and signing. You will also receive a keepsake certificate.

Our Celebrant

Born and raised in London, Christina is of Greek Cypriot origin, speaking both English and Greek fluently.

Christina has lived in Paphos for 17 years and has been around weddings for all of this time!

In her own words…

“What do I love about being a Celebrant?”
I love any opportunity to perform and, being a Celebrant allows me to bring love stories to life on a regular basis, in front of a happy supportive crowd and two people in love – you couldn’t wish for a better audience. That said, I let my couples determine my level of involvement. For some, I play a supporting role and devise a script that makes the two leads (the couple) shine. On the other hand, I’ve also worked with lots of people who aren’t so keen at being center stage, so I am well versed at how to help people who aren’t so great at public speaking to find their voice and relax in the moment allowing them to contribute where necessary, and then finding new and different ways to share their story without forcing them into the spotlight.

“I love words”
It’s not very often that we tell someone why we love them. I love that wedding ceremonies, and personal vows, renewal of vows, give couples an opportunity to speak openly and honestly about how much they love each other and the reasons why.

“It’s all about the couple”
For me, the ceremony is the only time during the whole day where the couple get a chance to truly enjoy the meaning of the day, free from any other interruptions.

As a Celebrant, I will create a bespoke, meaningful ceremony that isn’t religious. You do not have to follow templates or “tick boxes” meaning you will have complete creative freedom to make your day how you want it to be.

I perform weddings for couples of all beliefs, and none. Couples can be mixed faith, no faith, interfaith, humanist, same-sex or opposite sex, traditional or modern. For a truly heartfelt ceremony, love is all you need.

As a celebrant my ceremony brings individuality. I am lucky, to get to know couples and am very rarely time poor, never rushing off to be somewhere else.

I’ll take time getting to know you. I’ll help and guide you so that you have the confidence to make authentic and meaningful choices. We’ll find ways together to include and involve all your favourite people. And ultimately, we’ll craft a ceremony which does your love justice.
